What's Happening

Church service: Each year we hold a service at Somervell. Families are invited to come along and join the congregation of Somervell Church. The children and teachers sing their favourite songs, a video of the children at play during sessions is shown and morning tea is shared afterwards.

Dad's nights: Twice a year, during day light saving, the children invite Dads (or the significant man in their life) to a fish and chip night at Uplands.  After dinner, which they bring along, they show dad their kindy and a concert completes the evening.

Mum's nights:  An opportunity for mums (or the significant woman in the child’s life) to get together at the kindergarten or another location.

Open Door: Parents and visitors are welcome at session any time.

Christmas Party and Nativity play:  At the end of each year the morning children perform a Christmas concert in Somervell Church.  Everyone is invited.  The children’s Christmas party follows in the kindergarten while parents enjoy morning tea in the church hall.The afternoon children perform the nativity play in Somervell Church. The children’s Christmas party follows in the kindergarten. Everyone is welcome.
